Collection of rockets from beginner to high-powered models

LaunchPad Rocketry Camp

Design and build your first rockets over four exciting evenings

About This Camp

LaunchPad Rocketry Camp introduces middle and high school students to the exciting world of aerospace through hands-on model rocketry. Over four evenings, participants will design and build Skill Level 0, Skill Level 1, and Skill Level 2 model rockets while learning the fundamentals of aerodynamics, propulsion, and safe construction techniques. Each session combines classroom-style instruction with practical build time, ensuring students understand the science behind every rocket they construct.

Launch day is organized separately in partnership with the Chester County RC Club (CCRC). Launch day is not included in the camp registration fee and is subject to CCRC scheduling and weather conditions. If the schedule aligns, a launch day may be held on June 13 or 14, 2026 — details will be communicated to registered participants.

This camp provides more than just fun — it's a meaningful STEM enrichment opportunity affording students exposure to engineering principles, problem-solving, and teamwork. With all materials included and no prior experience required, LaunchPad Rocketry Camp is an accessible yet rigorous program sparking a lifelong interest in aerospace.
